Session Timeout limits deter potential vulnerabilities and help to efficiently allocate user subscriptions by releasing them when they become inactive. To set Session Timeout limits, use the following steps: Select Administration.Users.Select the pencil iconto edit the user account and specify one of the following options: 15 minutes30 minutes60 minutes2 hours8 hours12 hours1 day An explanation of the various Session Timeout limits follows: Activity-Based Session TimeoutThe options 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 2 hours are activity-based session timeouts. If the user stops working for either 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 2 hours, the user will be immediately logged out. Time-Based Session TimeoutThe options 8 hours, 12 hours, and 1 day will log the user out at the end of the session, regardless of activity. AlertsUsers can set up an alert that will go off 5 minutes before their Session Timeout limit, alerting them of their imminent logoff.
