Work Orders on the Legacy App

Work Orders on the Legacy app had to be downloaded manually from the Work section of the app. These WOs also had to be manually downloaded by filter.

 

 

My Work Orders

Work Orders on the MVP One mobile app are mainly managed from the "My Work Orders" section. This will be displayed when fist logging into the app, and it will show the user all of the Work Orders that have been assigned to them.

 

Create a Work Order

Work Orders on the Legacy app were created by selecting Action> New WO from the Work section of the app.

 

To create a Work Order on the MVP One Mobile App use the following steps:

1. Log into the MVP One Mobile App.
2. Select Create at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select Work Order.
4. Fill out any required fields and enter any optional information.
5. Select Submit.

 

 

Create a Work Request

Work Requests on the Legacy app were created by selecting Action> New WR from the Work section of the app.

 

To create a Work Request on the MVP One Mobile App use the following steps:

1. Log into the MVP One Mobile App.
2. Select Create at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select Work Request. 
4. Fill out any required fields and enter any optional information.
5. Select Submit.

 

 

Checking Out to Work Orders

 

Checkout Parts

On the Legacy app, parts were checked out to WOs by selecting Action> Parts from a WO record. The appropriate part could then be searched for and selected. 

 

 

On the MVP One mobile app use the following steps to checkout parts to a WO from the WO record:

1. Open the WO.
2. Select the Parts tab.
3. Enter a Qty to be checked out.
4. Select Check Out. 

 

To checkout additional parts that are not listed under the Estimated Parts use the following steps:

1. Open the WO.
2. Select the Parts tab.
3. Select Add Part.
4. Enter a Part ID, Warehouse, Stock Location, and Qty.
5. Select Submit.

 

Checkout Tools

To checkout Tools to a WO use the following steps:

1. Open the WO. 
2. Select the Activities tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and select "Add Tool."
4. Enter a Tool ID and Expected Return Date.
5. Select Check Out.

 

 

Calculate Labor & Downtime

 

Add Labor to Work Order

The automatic calculation of labor works very similarly on the Legacy app and the new app. In both cases the labor starts being tracked when the WO is started. 

 

To auto calculate labor on the MVP One Mobile app use the following steps:

1. Select a WO on the mobile App.
2. Select Start.
3. Select Stop to stop tracking and record the labor on the WO.

Labor will be auto calculated using this workflow, as long as the "Auto-calculate labor hours?" setting is set to "Yes" on the main MVP One site.

 

To manually add labor to a mobile WO use the following steps:

1. Open the WO.
2. Select the Activities tab.
3. Under the Labor section enter a People ID.
4. Enter the number of hours.
5. Select Add Labor.

 

 

Add Multiple Users as Labor

On the Legacy app, multiple users could be added as Labor to a WO by using the Teams Action. This action was accessed by selecting Action> Teams on a mobile WO. Team members could then be added by entering their People ID and selecting "Add Team Member."

 

 

 

On the MVP One Mobile App, multiple users can be added as labor to a Mobile WO by adding them as "Team Members." This feature can be accessed under the Activities section of a Mobile WO record. 

 

 

To begin calculating Actual Labor time for a team member, select the green play button to the right of their name. Starting the WO will not automatically start calculating time for the team members. 

 

Mark Asset Down

On the Legacy mobile app Downtime was added to WOs by selecting Action> Downtime and entering an amount of downtime. 

 

On the MVP One Mobile app use the following steps to mark an asset as Down:

1. Open the WO.
2. Select the Activities tab.
3. Scroll down to the Asset Status subsection.
4. From this section enter a Downtime Start Date and Down Reason.
5. Select "Mark Asset Down."

Searching for Records

Users can use the Search function to access specific records on the MVP One Mobile App. Users can search for and view the details of Work Orders, Assets, Parts, Tools, Meters, and Purchase Orders.

 

To search for a record on the Mobile App use the following steps:

1. Log into the Mobile App.
2. Select Search.
3. Enter in a Search term in the Search field at the top of the page. (This search will look through the Record ID, Name, Description, Comment, and Notes fields).
4. Select your desired record under the Search Results.

 

To Filter your search results use the following steps:

1. Select Search.
2. Select Filter.
3. Uncheck the boxes for the categories you don't want included in the search results. 

 

 

Huddle

Huddle is a subsection of the Work Order record on the MVP One Mobile app. This section allows users to send Huddle messages on the WO. This can be used to internally take notes or leave messages on the WO, without having to leave a comment.

Other Users can also be notified by using the @ symbol to tag users, Departments, or shifts. This will send the selected Users an alert message.
