The Scheduler page is divided into two sections. On the left is a list of unscheduled Work Orders and users, and on the right is the Calendar. Each side can be filtered as needed. Using the Scheduler: To add Estimated Labor to a Work Order you must select both the User record and WO record. This can be done in either order. You can also select a Work Group record by using the Work Groups tab. If it is not checked the WO’s Dates will remain the same, while allowing you to set it on a different date in the Scheduler. Availability User Availability When selecting a User on the Scheduler, periods of time outside of the selected User's availability will be shaded grey. This can be used as a visual aid to see where that User in unavailable to be scheduled. Please note that a User's availability will be determined by their assigned shift. Asset Availability If an Asset has it's "Asset Availability" filled out then it will be reflected on the Scheduler. When a WO is selected on the Scheduler, the linked Asset's availability will be reflected by the colored lines outlining that WO. Please see below for the color coding that represents asset availability. Scheduler Settings To Access your Administration Settings, use the following steps: AdministrationSettingsWork The two settings that will affect the Scheduler are Scheduler Start of the Week and Scheduler Date Autofill. Scheduler Start of the Week: This setting determines which day of the week will appear first on the left of the scheduler. Scheduler Date Autofill: This setting determines how the Estimated Hours are auto-filled when scheduling Work. If set to “Shift and Craft Hours” the Estimated Hours field will fill in with the Estimated Craft Hours on the WO. The User selected to do the labor must have the same Craft type entered on their People ID. When using the "Shift and Craft Hours” autofill setting, Estimated Craft must first be added to the WO. This can be done by adding it directly to the WO in the Schedule section. You can also add it to the PM Template in the General section under Craft Hours. If this is set up, then the WO would generate with the PM Craft Hours. If set to “WO Scheduled Dates” the Estimated Hours field will fill in with the difference between the Scheduled Start and Scheduled Finish dates. When using the “WO Scheduled Dates” autofill setting, the Scheduled Start and Finish Date must first be set on the WO. This can be done in the Schedule section of the WO or defined on a PM Template. If a WO is generated from a PM, the Next Due Date equals the Scheduled Start Date. The Scheduled End Date is defined by the Duration (Next Due Date + Duration=Scheduled End Date). My Profile Settings This section of My Profile allows you to apply default filters to specific sections of the Scheduler. When the Scheduler is opened these filters will already be applied and will filter out the visible records. These filters operate the same way as the search filters created in other sections of MVP. To Update the My Profile Settings, use the following steps: Press your user icon in the top right-hand corner of MVP.My Profile Scheduler-Labor: This setting allows you to apply a filter to the Labor section of the Scheduler. The available filters must first be created in the Scheduler Labor section. Scheduler-Work Order: This setting allows you to apply a filter to the Work Order section of the Scheduler. The available filters must first be created in the WO List or the WO section of the Scheduler. Scheduler-Work Group: This setting allows you to apply a filter to the Work Group section of the Scheduler. The available filters must first be created in the WG List or the WG section of the Scheduler. People Records In order for the Scheduler to autofill the Estimated Hours with the WO’s Estimated Craft, the Craft type must first be applied to the User's People Record. Multiple types of Craft can be applied to one People Record. When adding Labor on the Scheduler, this will allow you to select between multiple types of Craft for the same User. URL NameWork-Scheduler
