In order for a Work Request to become a Work Order, it will need to go through an approval process. To create a Work Request use the following steps: Select Work.Select Work Requests.Select New. Enter a Work Request ID.Enter in any desired optional information.Select Save. How To Fill Out A Work Request General Work Request ID: This field provides a unique name for the Work Request. Asset ID: This field indicates the Asset that the Work is being performed for. Job Plan ID: This field allows a Job Plan to be linked to the Work Request. Asset Down: This checkbox indicates whether the Asset is Down. If the checkbox is checked it means that the Asset was Down when the WR was created. Description: This field allows you to provide additional details about the Work Request. Submitter Email: This field displays the email of the Submitter that submitted this Work Request. This only applies when the WR was created from a Submitters Link. Status: This field indicates the Status of the Work Request. Sub-Status: This field displays the Sub-Status of the Work Request. This can be used to provide additional Status details. Assigned To: This field indicates who the Work Request will be assigned to when generated into a Work Order. Type: This allows a Work Type record to be linked to the Work Request. Work Priority: This field indicates the priority of the Work being performed. Expense Class: This allows an Expense Class record to be linked to the Work Request. Latitude: This indicates the Latitude of the linked Asset's location. Longitude: This indicates the Longitude of the linked Asset's location. Requested Start Date: This field is used by the requestor to indicate when they would like the Work started by. Requested Finish Date: This field is used by the requestor to indicate when they would like the Work finished by. Requested By: This field displays the user who requested the Work. Request Date: This field displays the date that this Work Request was created. Notes: This field allows Notes and Note Templates to be added to the Work Request. Approval This section displays the required Approvers needed to approve this Work Request. The Work Request must be approved before it can be generated into a Work Order. Attachments This section displays the image attachments that have been added to this record and allows you to add additional images.
