These records must be created from Asset records but new readings can be made directly from the Meter Reading record. Creating New Meter Readings To create a new Meter Reading use the following steps: Select Assets.Select an Asset Class.Select the Asset record the Meter will be attached to.Select Edit.Under Meters select Add.Enter in required information.Select OK.Select Save. How to Fill Out a Meter Reading Record Asset Record Meter ID: This field determines the name of the Meter. Description: This can be used to provide additional details. Unit: This determines the Unit of Measure of the Meter. Replace/Add Add - This will add the new value of the meter reading to the current meter reading.Replace - This will replace the old value of the meter reading with the new meter reading. Rollover Point: This determines the point at which the Meter rolls back to zero. Rollover Count: This displays how many times the Meter has rolled over. Meter Reading Record Meter ID: This field determines the name of the Meter. Description: This can be used to provide additional details. Asset ID: This displays which Asset this Meter is linked to. Asset Description: This is the Description of the linked Asset. Replace/Add: This determines whether new Meter Readings will be entered as Replace or Add. Unit: This determines the Unit of Measure of the Meter. Current Reading: This is the current reading of the Meter. New Reading: This is the New Reading that is being entered.
