Tax rate records can be created to enter specific regional tax rates into MVP One. These Tax Rates are then applied to Tax Code records, which can then be used to apply taxes to specific purchases. 

 

Creating New Tax Rates

To create a Tax Rate use the following steps:

1. Select Inventory.
2. Select Tax Rates.
3. Select New.
4. Fill out the Tax Rate ID and Rate fields.
5. Enter any additional information in the Description field.
6. Select Save. 

 

 

How to Fill Out a Tax Rate Record

Tax Rate ID: This field provides the name of the Tax Rate.

Description: This field provides any additional descriptive information about the Tax Rate.

Rate: This is the percentage Tax that is associated with this Tax Rate record. For example a five percent tax would simply be entered as 5.
