The Cycle Count Required Report shows a list of Parts that need to be Cycle Counted.

• Qty On Hand
• Reorder Quantity
• Stock Location
• Unit of Measure
• Vendor ID
• Warehouse ID

1. Identify Parts Due for Cycle Counting

Relevant fields:

• Last Counted

• Part Class

• Part ID

• Stock Location

How the report is used:

• Review parts overdue for cycle counting based on ABC class or policy.

• Prioritize A‑class or high‑value parts for more frequent counts.

• Ensure cycle count schedules are followed across all warehouses.

• Support inventory control and compliance.

 

2. Prepare Warehouse Teams for Upcoming Cycle Counts

Relevant fields:

• Qty On Hand

• New Qty

• Notes

• Warehouse ID

How the report is used:

• Provide teams with a list of parts requiring physical verification.

• Review expected quantities before performing counts.

• Add notes for special handling or verification steps.

• Coordinate cycle count tasks across multiple warehouses.

 

3. Improve Inventory Accuracy for Critical Parts

• Part Class

• Min

• Reorder Quantity

How the report is used:

• Identify critical parts where count accuracy directly affects replenishment.

• Prevent stockouts caused by inaccurate quantities.

• Adjust Min/Max or reorder quantities based on verified counts.

How to Set Up Report:

1. Select the report template.
2. Select the fields to include in the report by selecting them in Columns.
3. Use the Edit Filter option to further specify the report results.
4. Select Save and Run.
