General The General tab displays the following fields that can be toggled in regards to what Transactions should process automatically on the Mobile Application: Count? Provides the option to process Cycle Count transactions automatically. Meters? Provides the option to process Meter transactions automatically. Parts? Provides the option to process Part transactions automatically. POs? Provides the option to process Purchase Order transactions automatically. Tools? Provides the option to process Tool Checkout transactions automatically. For any Transactions that are set to "no", they will have to be manually approved and processed via a BC Transactions menu (Work > BC Transactions)(Inventory > BC Transactions). Patterns The Patterns tab allows administrators to create patterns that must be matched by MVP Mobile CMMS scans in order to be considered valid data for a given field. For instance, the following pattern could be created for the Part ID field: @@-@@-#### (“@” represents any letter, “#” represents any number). After creating this pattern, any part being scanned must have a Part ID matching this pattern, or the part will generate an error and will not be entered into the system. An Explanation of the Characters is provided to the right of this screen. Administrators can set multiple patterns for a given field by pressing the green Plus + button to the right of any field. Customization The Customization tab allows administrators to customize the way MVP Mobile CMMS interacts with Part, Work Order, and Work Request data. Several options are provided in this area. Parts Customization Is a Part Ever Stored in Multiple Locations Withing the same Warehouse? When set to No, Parts checked will have the Stock Location field autofilled once a Warehouse has been selected. If set to Yes, the mobile system can either Prompt for the Stock Location, or it can return a blank value for the Stock Location Field, which will display on the Barcode Transactions table (Work > BC Transactions). Charge Parts to Work Orders? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Work Orders. Charge Parts to Equipment? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Equipment. Charge Parts to Locations? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Locations. Charge Parts to Repairable Spares? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Repairable Spares. Charge Parts to Systems? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Work Systems. Charge Parts to Cost Centers? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Cost Centers. Charge Parts to Work Groups? This setting will determine if Mobile Users are allowed to check out Parts to Work Groups. Prompt for Account Codes? This setting will determine if, when checking out parts, the Mobile App will prompt the user to enter an Account code. Display Current QTY on Hand for Cycle Counts? This setting will determine if the Mobile App will display the Current QTY on hand for a part when performing a Cycle Count on a part. Show Old QTY in My Cycle Counts? This setting will determine if the current/old QTY on hand will show when performing a downloaded Cycle Count in the My Cycle Count section of the Mobile App. Work Order Customization Allow Image Attachments? This setting will determine if Mobile users can add Image Attachments to records via the Mobile App. Auto-calculate Downtime? This setting will determine how downtime is tracked via the Mobile App. When using Auto-Calculate Downtime, the downtime is only counted on the mobile device when the Work Order is open. Any downtime calculated will be added to the total downtime on the Work Order. Please note that the downtime will continue to be calculated regardless of the WO's status. The tracking of Labor Hours begins as soon as the User selects Start, and is ended as soon as they select Stop. Auto-download/Upload Work Orders? Enabling this setting will allow Mobile users to automatically download Work Orders using Mobile Default Filters and upload Completed Work Orders in real-time to the live Browser-based site. Auto-calculate Labor Hours? When using Mobile CMMS, Labor Hours on Work Orders can be automatically calculated and tracked. The tracking of Labor Hours begins as soon as the User selects Start, and is ended as soon as they select Stop, on any Work Order. Auto-populate the Requested By field when creating new WOs? Enabling this setting will automatically enter in the current Users People ID in the "Requested By" field when creating a new Work Order on a mobile device. When creating Work Orders on a mobile device, Users will either be required to type in the description of the Work Order manually, or it can be set to Autofill with the Assets Description. Require Expense Class on New WOs? Enabling this setting will require that the Expense Class field be filled out when creating a Work Order on a mobile device. Work Order Sort By The Work Order Queue can be sorted by the following fields; Approval Date (if the Work Order was generated from a Work Request).Asset ID.Calculated Work Priority.Expense Class.Failure Mode.Request Date.Scheduled Finish Date.Scheduled Start Date.Status.Work Order ID.Work Priority.Work Type. Work Order Sort Direction The sort direction of the Work Order queue can either be set to Descending or Ascending. Update Assigned To with People ID for Existing WOs? Enabling this setting will cause Mobile Work Orders to list the "Assigned to" field to populate with the People ID of the User who downloaded the Work Order to a mobile device. Enabling this setting will also Overwrite any currently listed "Assigned to" fields upon downloading to a mobile device. Update Assigned To with People ID for on-the-fly WOs? Enabling this setting will populate the "Assigned to" field with the People ID of the User currently logged in who created the Work Order on a mobile device. Update Scheduled Start Date with WO Start Date for existing WOs? Enabling this setting will cause the "Scheduled Start Date" of a Downloaded Work Order to automatically update to the date/time that the Work Order is downloaded and started on a mobile device. *Note that enabling this setting can cause logical errors if Scheduled Start and Finish Dates are already applied to Work Orders. If a Work Order is downloaded and Started after the Scheduled Finish Date, users will receive an error. Update Scheduled Start Date with WO Start Date for on-the-fly WOs? Enabling this setting will cause the "Scheduled Start Date" of an OTF Work Order on a mobile device to automatically update to the date/time that the Work Order is created and started. Filters By default, all MVP Mobile CMMS users have access to download Work Orders that are encompassed by the Assigned To Me filter. This filter displays all non-Completed Work Orders which a user is assigned or is part of estimated labor for. The filters listed on this page are from the Work Orders page. Please note that when using the Auto-Download/Upload Mobile CMMS Setting, no Completed Work Orders will show up on your mobile device, even if your filter would normally show them.
