If an "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object..." error occurs when receiving a PO the most likely cause is that the Receive To ID or the Account ID is not a valid entry. The simplest way to check is to see if the referenced ID exists on the appropriate page. If it does not, that is the issue. It will need to be created, or the Line Item edited.
