InformationTitleProjectsContentContentProjects are used to organize Work Orders that are part of capital projects. Projects can be used to break down large jobs into multiple smaller stages. Additionally any costs added to a Work Order tied to a Project will also associate the costs to that Project. This can be used to effectively organize costs for long term projects. To create a Project use the following steps: Select Work. Select Projects.Select New.Enter a Project ID and any other required information in the General section.In the Stages section add the various steps of the Project.Select Save. How to Fill Out a Project Record General Project ID: This field determines the name of the Project. Description: This field provides additional details about the Project. Type: This field is used to link a Work Type to the Project. Status: This field is used to set the Status of the Project. Assigned To: This field determines what User the Project is assigned to. Scheduled Start Date - This is the date the Project is scheduled to start.Finish Date - This is the date the Project is scheduled to end.Duration - This field displays the number of hours between the scheduled start and finish dates.Cost - This is the estimated cost of the Project. Actual Start Date - This is the actual start date of the Project.Finish Date - This is the actual finish date of the Project.Duration - This field displays the number of hours between the actual start and finish dates.Cost - This is the actual cost of the Project. Variance Start - This is the difference in hours between the scheduled and actual start dates.Finish - This is the difference in hours between the scheduled and actual finish dates. Duration - This field displays the number of hours between the scheduled and actual Durations. Cost - This field displays the difference between the scheduled and actual cost. Notes: This field allows additional information to be entered on the Project record. Stages Stage ID: This field determines the name of the Project Stage. Description: This field provides additional details about the Project Stage. Scheduled Start Date: This field determines when the Project Stage is scheduled to start. Scheduled End Date: This field determines when the Project Stage is scheduled to end. Actual Start Date: This field displays when the Project Stage was actually started. Actual End Date: This field displays when the Project Stage actually ended. Duration: This field displays the difference in hours between the stage's actual Start and End Dates. Work Orders This section displays all of the Work Orders linked to this Project. Attachments This section displays the image attachments that have been added to this record and allows you to add additional images. Adding a Work Order to a Project To add a Work Order to a Project use the following steps: Select a Project ID.Select the Action button and then Add to WO.Add a Stage ID and Work Order ID. Select OK. To link a Project to a Work Order from a WO record use the following steps: Select a WO record.Select Edit.Navigate to the Project section under General.Enter a Project ID and then Project Stage ID.Select Save.
