Meters are used to track different numerical information (hours, rotations, cycles, etc) for Assets.
 
 
In order to create a Meter for an Asset (Equipment, Location, System, or Repairable Spare) use the following steps:
  1. Navigate to Assets.
  2. Select the Appropriate Asset Class.
  3. Select the Asset you want to add the Meter to.
  4. Click on Edit.
  5. Click on the Meters tab.
  6. Click on the green plus button to add a new meter.
    1. Meter ID - Name of the meter.
    2. Description - Description of the meter.
    3. Unit - Unit of Measure of the meter.
    4. Add/Replace- Choose either "add" or "replace" for the type of meter.
      • Add - adds the value to a current meter reading.
      • Replace - replaces the old value with the new meter reading.
    5. Rollover Point - Point at which the meter rolls back to zero.
    6. Rollover Count - how many times the meter has rolled over.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Repeat to add another meter or click save when done.

 

 

 

Meter IDs are displayed in the Meter Readings section of the Assets Module. 

Meters are created from an Asset and can be selected in the Meters tab of PMs, after the Asset is added to the PM record. It is possible to add multiple Meters to a PM through Instruction Steps.
