This article describes how to create new Unit records. These units of measurement are then used in Calibrations and the ordering of Parts.

Unit records are used to create Units of Measurement that can be used through out MVP One. These units can be used to take calibrations, and provide information about Part quantities.

Examples of Units include Pounds, Yards, and PSI. 

 

 

Creating New Units

To create a Unit record use the following steps:

  1. Select Inventory.
  2. Select Units.
  3. Select New.
  4. Fill out Unit field.
  5. Enter any additional information in the Description field.
  6. Select Save. 

 

 

How to Fill Out a Unit Record

Unit: This field provides the name of the Unit record.

Description: This field provides additional information about the Unit record.
