Automatically Update Spare Part List

Spare Part Lists can be automatically updated as Parts are used, Received, or checked out to Assets.
 
In order to automatically Update Parts on a Spare Parts List (SPL) for Assets use the following steps when logged in as an admin user:
  1. Select Administration.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Inventory.
  4. From the "Update Spare Parts Lists" field choose "Automatically" from the drop-down.
  5. Click Save when done.

 

The Spare Part List will automatically update when using the following actions;

  • When a Part is checked out to an Asset.
  • When a Part is checked out to a Work Order.
  • When a Part is received to a Work Order via a Purchase Order.
  • When a Part is received to the Asset via a Purchase Order.
