Approve and Plan WRs?

If activated, after approving a WR from the action menu, a separate window will appear, in which administrators can enter Status, Priority, Assigned To, Assigned By, Requested By, Date, Sub-Status, Scheduled Start Date, Scheduled Finish Date, and Downtime.

WR Approval?

Sets the type of WR approval, either Basic(any admin can approve any Work Request) or WR Approval Chain based.

Generation Populates Requested Dates?

If activated, WO Requested start dates will be automatically populated with the next due date, while Requested finish dates will be automatically populated with a date corresponding to the next due date and the task duration.

Generation Populates Scheduled Dates?

If activated, WO scheduled start dates will be automatically populated with the next due date, while scheduled finish dates will be automatically populated with a date corresponding to the next due date and the task duration.

Generation Next Due Date?

The Generation Next Due Date setting allows a site to control if the Start or Finish date (Requested and/or Scheduled) populates on a generated Work Order from the PM Calendar Asset's Next Due Date field. 

Generation Populates WG Notes?

Determines if the WG Notes are populated by the Generation Service with a note detailing the PM that caused the Work Group to be created.

All Instructions complete before completing a WO?

If activated, all instructions must be checked off as completed before a WO can be completed.

Require Signature before completing a WO?

If activated, the Action > Sign function must be used on a Work Order before it can be Completed.

Require Comments before completing a WO?

If activated, Comments must be added to a Work Order before it can be Completed.

Require Labor Transaction before completing a WO?

If activated, Actual Labor must be added before a Work Order can be Completed.

Require Failure Analysis before completing a WO?

If activated, A Failure Mode must be added before a Work Order can be Completed.

Close Confirmation?

If activated, after closing a WO from the action menu, a popup box will appear, asking the user to confirm this action.

Status Changing

Printing Ready WOs?

If a WO with a status of Ready is printed, the WO status will change to In Process.

Printing Scheduled WOs?

If a WO with a status of Scheduled is printed, the WO status will change to In Process.

Adding Parts?

If enabled, a Work Orders status will automatically update to In Process when Actual Parts are added.

Adding Labor?

If enabled, a Work Orders status will automatically update to In Process or Completed when Actual Labor is added.

Update Actual Start Date when adding Labor

Determines whether the Actual Start Date will be updated when adding labor-related data. The Actual Start Date will update to the Start Date/Time of the Labor entered.

Update Actual Finish Date when Adding Labor

Determines whether the Actual Finish Date will be updated when adding labor-related data. The Actual Finish Date will update to the Finish Date/Time of the Labor entered.

 

Submitters

 

 

Submitters allow for non-MVP users to submit Work Requests to MVP. This is done through a special web address that is generated by the Submitters tab, in the Work Settings page. Before Submitters can be used the Submitters Link needs to be activated.
