The Generation Next Due Date setting allows a site to control if the Start or Finish date (Requested or Scheduled) populates on a generated Work Order from the PM Calendar Asset's Next Due Date field. 

To access this setting:

1. Select Administration in the lower left corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Work.
4. Under Workflow, you have the option to modify the Generation Next Due Date? setting.

For example, if I set the Generation Next Due Date? setting to Finish. The Work Order generated from this PM will have the Next Due Date field populate the Finish Dates (2/1/2022). Since my Completion Window is set to "5", the Start dates populate with 1/27/2022. 

Furthermore if Estimated Labor is added to a  PM, the PM Finish Date will be determined by the Labor Start Time. For example if  Estimated Labor with a Start Time of 7:00 AM is added to a PM, the Scheduled End Date on the Work Order will be 7:00 AM. If 3 hours of Labor are added then it will be subtracted from the End Date, and the Scheduled Start Date will be 4:00 AM.
