User Already Exists Error when Creating User from Enterprise

When creating a user from the enterprise site it creates both a username (the log-in information) and a People Module record (People > Maintenance). If a People record already exists at the site for which you are creating the user, the user already exists error will occur.

To resolve this error you will need to create the user login information at the local site, do the following:
  1. Log into the local site.
  2. Select Administration.
  3. Select Users.
  4. Select the green plus symbol.
  5. Enter People ID.
  6. Enter and confirm the password.
  7. Choose Role from the Available Role box.
  8. Select OK.
