Report Description: 

The Error Log Report displays a list of all errors users have encountered in your MVP One system over a given timeframe.

 

 

Report Fields:

• Date
• Error Message
• Error Type
• User ID

1. Diagnose System Issues and Application Failures

• Error Message

• Error Type

• Date

How the report is used:

• Identify system‑level errors such as failed processes, missing data, or unexpected exceptions.

• Review timestamps to detect patterns or spikes in system failures.

• Support troubleshooting by pinpointing the exact error message and context.

• Coordinate with MVP One support when deeper investigation is required.

 

2. Identify User‑Specific Errors and Training Needs

Relevant fields:

• User ID

• Error Message

• Error Type

How the report is used:

• Identify users repeatedly encountering the same errors.

• Detect training gaps or workflow misunderstandings.

• Provide targeted coaching or documentation to reduce future errors.

• Validate whether permissions or roles need adjustment.

 

3. Validate Data Integrity and Workflow Configuration

Relevant fields:

• Error Type

• Error Message

How the report is used:

• Identify errors caused by missing required fields, invalid data, or misconfigured workflows.

• Detect issues with PM setups, part records, or asset configurations.

• Support cleanup of incorrect or incomplete data.

• Improve system configuration and reduce recurring errors.

 

How to Set Up Report:

1. Select the report template.
2. Select the fields to include in the report by selecting them in Columns.
3. Use the Edit Filter option to further specify the report results.
4. Select Save and Run.
