This report allows users to view the Min/Max values of all inventory part records in MVP One. 

 

 

Report Fields:

• Max Qty
• Max Value
• Min Qty
• Min Value
• On Hand Value
• Part Class
• Part ID
• Qty on Hand
• Type
• Unit Cost

1. Validate Replenishment Settings Across All Parts

Relevant fields:

• Min Qty

• Max Qty

• Part Class

• Type

How the report is used:

• Ensure Min/Max levels align with actual usage and demand.

• Identify parts with outdated or incorrect stocking thresholds.

• Support optimization of replenishment strategies.

• Improve inventory reliability and reduce stockouts.

 

2. Analyze Inventory Value Exposure

Relevant fields:

• Min Value

• Max Value

• On Hand Value

• Unit Cost

How the report is used:

• Identify high‑value parts requiring tighter inventory controls.

• Review financial exposure at minimum and maximum stocking levels.

• Support budgeting and cost‑center planning.

• Detect parts with excessive inventory value tied up in stock.

 

3. Identify Overstocked or Understocked Parts

Relevant fields:

• Qty on Hand

• Min Qty

• Max Qty

How the report is used:

• Detect parts where on‑hand quantity exceeds Max Qty (overstock).

• Identify parts below Min Qty (risk of stockout).

• Support corrective actions such as redistribution or replenishment.

• Improve inventory balance across warehouses.

 

How to Set Up Report:

1. Select the report template.
2. Select the fields to include in the report by selecting them in Columns.
3. Use the Edit Filter option to further specify the report results.
4. Select Save and Run.
