The Inventory Settings page on Enterprise sites will apply settings affecting the Inventory module on the Enterprise site. Only the Overmax setting, described in detail below, will affect the local sites connected to the Enterprise.

 

Auto Generate Part ID?

This setting will determine whether newly created Parts are automatically assigned a Part ID, or if one must be manually created for them. This setting can be set to Yes, Yes (Editable), or No.

By selecting "Yes (Editable)" a Part ID will still be automatically generated, but Users will be able to edit it if they have role permissions.

 

Next Part ID

This setting will list the Part ID that will be automatically generated for the next new part. This will only apply if the Auto Generate Part ID setting is set to Yes or Yes (Editable).

This ID will be one number higher than the last Part ID automatically generated.

 

Overmax

The Overmax Setting is a feature for Enteprise Users who are syncing Parts and utilizing the Part Replenishment at the local site level. Once activated, local sites will have an Overmax column displayed during the PR Generation. This will give users a value of Overmax QTY of that Part at all other Enterprise local sites.

Overmax is the total amount at each Local Warehouse over the Max ( Virtual QTY(QTY on hand - QTY Reserved + Quantity on Order) is Greater than (Reorder Point+Reorder QTY)).

To Display Overmax for Local Sites:

1. Login into your Enterprise Portal.
2. Select Administration.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Inventory.
5. Select the checkbox for "Display Overmax during PR Generation".
6. Select Save.
