Linking Lists are lists that allow users to break up which MVP One sites they want to be included in global searches. For example in the image below both sites (Ent1 and Ent2) will be included in the global searches for the Inventory, PM, and Asset global searches.

This means that when a global search is performed on those sites, it will look through the databases of both sites. If you don't want one of the sites included in a specific category, you would simply uncheck the box for that section.

To create a new Linking List an Enterprise Administrator can use the following steps:

Select Administration > Select Linking Lists > Select New > Enter an ID > Enter a description > Check the boxes for the data category for each site that you want included > Select Save when done.

To apply a Linking List to a specific site use the following steps:

Select Administration> Select Links > Select a Site > Select Edit > Choose the desired Linking List from the List drop down menu > Select Save.
