Enterprise Sync Tables

This article explains how to select what record types are controlled from the Enterprise level. These settings can only be accessed by Enterprise Admins.

Enterprise implementations of MVP allow for certain types of records to be synced from a central Enterprise site, to multiple local sites. When records are controlled from the Enterprise site they cannot be edited, or new records of that type created, from the local sites.

This article details the field types that can be controlled from Enterprise. You can determine which record types are synced for each site by creating Sync Tables.

Sync Categories

Account:

Enabling this will cause Account records within the Accounting module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

ACR:

Enabling this will cause the ACR Questions within the Asset Settings module on the Enterprise Portal site to be controlled, and synced to the local sites.

Asset Template:

Enabling this will cause Asset Note Template records within the Asset module on the Enterprise Portal to be controlled, and synced to the local sites.

Asset Type:

Enabling this will cause Asset Type records within the Asset module on the Enterprise Portal to be controlled, and synced to the local sites.

Cost Center:

Enabling this will cause Cost Center records within the Accounting module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Craft:

Enabling this will cause Craft records within the People module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Currency:

Enabling this will cause Currency records within the Inventory module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Department:

Enabling this will cause Department records within the Accounting module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Expense Class:

Enabling this will cause Expense Class records within the Accounting module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Failure Analysis

Enabling this will cause all Failure Analysis records within the Work module to be controlled and synced via enterprise. Please note that when this sync is enabled, it will wipe the data for Failure mode and Solution records from all connected local sites. Before the sync is enabled we recommend users run the "Failure Analysis Export" report. This will allow users to export and save their local site's Failure Analysis records before they are wiped. If Failure Analysis sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:

Failure Mode:

Enabling this will cause Failure Mode records within the Work module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Hold Reason:

Enabling this will cause Hold Reason records within the Work module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Manufacturer:

Enabling this will cause Manufacturer records within the Inventory module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Meter Unit:

Enabling this will cause Meter Unit records within the Asset module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Part

Enabling this will cause Part records within the Inventory Module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

If Part Sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:

Unit
Weight

Part Accounts:

Enabling this will cause the "Accounts" section on Part records to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

If the Part Account sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:

Account
Manufacturer
Part
Part Type

Part Class:

Enabling this will cause Part Class records within the Inventory module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Part General-Part Class:

Enabling this will cause the "Part Class" section on Part records to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

If the Part Account sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:

Part General-Part Stock:

Enabling this will cause the "Stock" section on Part records to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

If the Part Stock sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:

Part Type:

Enabling this will cause Part Type records within the Inventory module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

Part Vendors:

Enabling this will cause the Vendors section on Part records within the Inventory Module to be controlled and synced via enterprise.

If the Part Vendor sync is enabled, the following modules must be synced:
