When records are controlled from the Enterprise site they cannot be edited, or new records of that type created, from the local sites. October 2024 Release Sync Lists are a new feature added in this release that will enable Enterprise Admins to set up site-specific Sync Settings. Please note that this implementation has been designed to not interrupt the existing Sync functionality. This has been done by automatically creating a "Default_SyncList" record that will be applied to all existing Local Sites. This Sync List will reflect the existing Sync Settings that were set up on the Enterprise before this release. Additional Sync Lists can be created and applied to Local Sites by following the steps below. Creating Sync Lists The first step in syncing records from Enterprise is to create Sync Lists. These will determine what records are Synced down from the Enterprise to the Local sites. Refer to the Enterprise Sync Tables article for details on how each record type is synced down. Use the following steps to create Sync Lists: Select Administration.Select Sync Lists.Select New.Check off the types of records you want to control from Enterprise. Please note that certain types of records are linked and must be checked off together.Select Save. Applying Sync Lists to Local Sites The next step in this process is to apply the created Sync Lists to your Enterprise linked local sites. This will determine which records are synced down for each site. Use the following steps to link Sync Lists: Select Administration.Select Enterprise.Select Edit.Select the Edit icon next to a Company ID.Under the Sync List dropdown select a Sync List ID.Select OK.Select Save. Sync Records Down to Local Sites The final step in this process is to Sync down records to the Local Sites according to the newly applied Sync Lists. Use the following steps to Sync records down: Select Administration.Select Sync.Check off the box for the Site you want to Sync down to.Select Sync in the upper right.Wait for the Sync Process to Complete. Please note that the first time data is synced the process can take quite some time depending on how many records are being processed. Do not be alarmed if the process runs for multiple hours on the very first Sync. URL NameEnterprise-Sync
