Inventory Weights are records that are created in order to provide weight measurements to Parts. These measurements can be added to Part records and used to provide a measurement of how much an individual Part weighs.

Examples of Inventory Weights that can be created are Pounds and Kilograms.

 

Creating New Inventory Weights

To create a new Inventory Weight record use the following steps:

1. Select Inventory.
2. Select Weights.
3. Select New.
4. Fill out the Weight field.
5. Enter the Conversion Factor to Lbs. 
6. Enter any additional information in the Description field.
7. Select Save.

 

 

How to Fill Out an Inventory Weight Record

 

Weight: This field is used to provide a name for the Inventory Weight.

Description: This field is used to provide additional information about the Inventory Weight. 

Conversion Factor to Lbs: This field is used to provide a metric used to convert the Inventory Weight to Pounds.
