Work Order Actions

Four actions appear in the top right of the WO record.

Start/Stop - A user would select the "Start" action when they want to begin work on a WO, and want to start calculating Labor and Downtime. The user would select "Stop" when they want to pause their work. 

Edit - This action will allow users to edit various fields on the WO.

Follow Up - This action will open another window where users can create a new follow up WO or WR for the currently selected WO.

Finish - This action will allow users to complete the selected WO. This will also them to select a WO Sub-Status and mark whether or not the Asset is Up or Down.

 

 

WO Details

The Details tab will allow users to view the WO Details, Custom Fields, and Schedule section. Simply scroll down this page to view the various WO sections and information. These fields can be edited by utilizing the "Edit" action.

 

The Location field will display the Warehouse and Stock Location where the Asset is stored. 

 

The Schedule subsection will display who the WO is assigned to, Request and Schedule dates, and the Work Priority of the WO.

 

 

 

Parts

The Parts section of the WO will list all of the Parts that are listed on the WO record.

Estimated Parts - These parts will be listed as "Available" and can be checked out to the WO from the mobile app. Asset Spare Parts Lists will be displayed if a Work Order record does not have any Estimated Parts.

Actual Parts - These parts will be listed as "Checked Out" and can be returned from the WO.

Tools - The tool record will be listed as "Available" or "Checked Out" depending on its status when downloaded. This status can be modified from the mobile app.

 

Add Part- This action will allow users to either add parts manually to the WO or Request Parts. Adding parts manually will add another part listed under the Parts section. Requesting a part will create a new Purchase Request for the specified part record.

 

 

Instructions

The Instructions section will list all Instructions necessary to complete the Work Order. Users can simply scroll through this section to view all Instructions.

 

Instructions can be marked as complete by selecting the checkbox next to the listed instruction. The timestamp of the instruction's completion will then be listed alongside the checkbox.

 

 

Activities

The Activities section of the WO will allow users to perform various actions including the management of labor, attachments, comments and more. 

 

Labor - This section allows users to add Actual Labor to the WO by selecting a People ID and number of hours.

Asset Status - This section allows users to manage the status of the Asset by marking it as either Up or Down. An Asset Down reason must also be provided.

Failure Modes - This section allows users to link Failure Modes and Solutions to the WO.

Attachments - This will allow users to attach previously saved images to the WO. New pictures can also be taken from the device and attached to the WO. This section also allows signatures to be added to the WO.

Comments - This will allow users to add new comments to the WO. Previously entered comments will also be listed under this section.

Tools - This section will allow users to check out Tool records to the WO. Once a Tool record has been added, it will be listed under this section with its picture and description. 

 

 

Huddle

The Huddle section will allow users to send Huddle messages on the WO. This can be used to internally take notes or leave messages on the WO, without having to leave a comment.

Other Users can also be notified by using the @ symbol to tag other Users, Departments, or shifts.
