To activate or edit Purchasing alerts, do the following:

1. Select Purchasing.
2. Select the module that you would like to set up alerts for (EX: If you wish to set up alerts for Purchase Requests, select "Purchase Request").
3. Select the notification icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
4. Select Subscribe to Alerts.

Want to edit the Subject or body of an alert?

The subject and body of an alert can be edited and customized. Additional information can be added via the Merge Fields.

 

Purchase Order Alerts

Any of these alerts can be enabled by checking the box next to them in the Alerts menu.

 

Purchase Orders - Closed (All) Alert

This alert will notify users when any Purchase Order is closed.

 

Purchase Orders - Closed (This) Alert

This alert will notify users when a Purchase Order is closed.

 

Purchase Orders - Created (System) Alert

This alert will notify users when Purchase Orders are created from the system.

 

Purchase Orders - Created (Users) Alert

This alert will notify users when a Purchase Order has been created by a user.

 

Purchase Orders - Part Receipt Overage (All) Alert

This alert will notify the users when a Part Service ID was over received on a Purchase Order.

 

Purchase Orders - Part Receipt Overage (This) Alert

This alert will notify the users when a Part Service ID was over received on a Purchase Order.

 

Purchase Order - Promise Date Overdue (All) Alert

This alert will notify users when the Purchase Orders have passed the promise date.

PR Approval Required Alert

To receive an email Alert when a Purchase Request requires your approval perform the following steps:

 

Purchase Request - Approved (All) Alert

This alert will notify the users when a Purchase Request is approved.

Purchase Request - Created (System) Alert
