The Virtual Quantity is the calculated quantity that the automated reordering system will use to compare to the min or reorder point.

The virtual quantity formula is:

Quantity on Hand - Quantity Reserved + Quantity on Order = Virtual Quantity 

• Quantity on Hand - This is calculated by summing the Quantity on Hand for all stock locations within a warehouse.
• Quantity Reserved - This is calculated by summing the Quantity Estimated - Quantity Used for all open WOs.
• Quantity on Order - This can vary based on the setting "Reorder Qty Checking". The is calculated by summing Quantity Requested - Quantity Received. The setting will determine if it only looks at open POs or both open POs and PRs.
