Create a new People record: Select the People.Select one of the four people types from the dropdown menu (Maintenance, Requestors, Contractors, Customers, Operators).Select New.Make sure to fill in all required fields and any relevant optional fields.Select Save. Edit an existing People record: Select the People record.Select one of the four people types (Maintenance, Requestors, Contractors, Customers, Operators). Select Edit. Make any necessary changes. Select Save. This will also allow you to edit a User's personal information. This includes their Name, Email, Phone Number, and Wage. People Types:Maintenance: A Maintenance ID, found in People > Maintenance, can have wages, crafts, and skills assigned to their record. Having a craft and wage allows a Maintenance ID to have Estimated or Actual Labor placed on a Work Order under their name. A Maintenance ID has the ability to receive all access via Roles during the user creation process. Requestors: A Requestor ID, found in People > Requestors, have limited access. A Requestor ID on user set up is only able to request work or purchasing records, Work Requests or Work Orders, or Purchase Requests. Depending on how you'd like to restrict them, your Requestor Users can do only one, some, or all of these things. Requestor Users do not have access to Reports. Contractors: A Contractor ID, found in People > Contractors, can have wages, crafts, and skills assigned to their record. Having a craft and wage allows a Contractor ID to have Estimated or Actual Labor placed on a Work Order under their name. A Contractor ID has the ability to receive all access via Roles during the user creation process. Customers: A Customer ID, found in People > Customers, have limited access. A Customer user is only able to create Work or Purchase requests. TPM: TPM stands for Total Productive Maintenance. The concept of TPM is to adopt a comprehensive approach to equipment maintenance with the goal of achieving optimal production. TPM breaks down the traditional boundaries between production and maintenance by empowering operators to take an active role in equipment maintenance. A TPM ID, found in People > TPM, have limited access. A TPM ID on user setup is only able to request work or purchasing records, Work Requests or Work Orders, or Purchase Requests. TPM Users are also able to check off Instructions on Work Orders, as well as complete them. Depending on how you'd like to restrict them, your TPM Users can do only one, some, or all of these things.
