Follow the steps below to enable a user to log in via LDAP Authentication:

1. Select Administration. 
   1.  Settings.
   2.  Company.
2. Enter the address for the LDAP server in LDAP Url field. Do not include HTTPS or LDAP in front of the URL.
   1. To test, select the globe icon in the LDAP Url field.
   2. Enter a domain, user, and password for a valid user.
   3. If the test is not a success, the LDAP server is not accessible from MVP Plant's server. Please add mvpplant.com to the whitelist for the LDAP server and repeat the testing process.
3. Select Administration.   
   1. Users.
   2. Create or Edit a User entry.
   3. Under Authentication Type select LDAP.
   4. Enter the Domain for the user.
   5. Ensure the Username field matches exactly the Username from the LDAP server.
   6. Select OK to save the changes.
   7. The user will now log in using the Username and Password from the LDAP server.

 

Please note that access to LDAP Authentication is license based. Please contact your Account Executive if you are interested in getting access.
