This article explains how to request a new Vendor on Enterprise linked sites. This will only apply to sites where the Vendor records are synced down from the Enterprise site.

When Vendors are synced down from Enterprise, the New option is unavailable on the local sites.

If a new Vendor is required users can use the Action > Request New Vendor function on the Vendors page. This request will be sent to the Enterprise site and be approved or declined by the Enterprise admin.

To request a new vendor use the following steps:
  1. Select Inventory (from the side menu bar).
  2. Select Vendors.
  3. Select Action.
  4. Select Request New Vendor.
  5. Fill in the desired information.
  6. Select OK.
