To correct this the local administrator will need to change the Costing Method back to the way it was when the Part was originally checked out, and then change it back again once it has been removed from the Work Order. To correct the Quantity Must be Less than total Inventory error by adjusting the Costing Method setting: Select Administration.Select Settings.Select Inventory.Change Costing Method to other choice.Select Save.Select Work.Select Work Orders.Navigate to Work Order.Select Action.Select Remove Part.Enter necessary details.Select Ok.Select Administration.Select Settings.Select Inventory.Change Costing Method back.Select Save.
