Purchase Request Workflow

This article provides the workflow for Purchase Requests from their creation to their generation into Purchase Orders.

Purchase Requests have the following workflow:

Creation
Approval or Decline
- When Declined the PR will move to PR History.
Generate into PO.
- The PR will remain active (with a status of Processed) until the PO is Cancelled or Completed at which time it will move to History.
- Any other PR with the same vendor and PO Type that was turned into a PO at the same time will merge together.

PO's are completed when they have been fully received. The quantity requested must match the quantity received as shown on the Items tab of the PO.
