Part Lists

This article explains how to setup Part Lists. These can be used to restrict the Parts that Users can view.

Part Lists will restrict Users to only be able to view Parts that are in that Part List.

Use the following steps to create a Part List:

Select Administration.
Select Part List.
Select New.
Enter a Part List ID.
Select Add Parts to individually add Parts to the list from Inventory. Or Select the Groups tab and add Parts by Groups (Part Type, Warehouse, Account Codes).
Select Save.

Use the following steps to apply a Part List to a user:

Select Administration.
Select Users.
Edit a User.
Under the Part List ID field select a Part List from the dropdown.
- This will restrict the user to only be able to view the Parts in that list.
Select Save.
