No Work Orders Generated From PM

If users are trying to generate calendar based PMs (from the PMs page using Action > Generate) and no Work Orders are generated there are a few possibilities.

 

Check for the following things when no work orders are generating from a calendar based PM:
  1. Is the PM set to Floating or No Duplicates, and an incomplete Work Order is currently available?
  2. Is the Next Due Date set correctly?
  3. If generating manually is the End Date entered in before the Next Due Date?
  4. Are the Assets on the PM either Out of Service, or Inactive?
  5. Is the PM Inactive?
  6. Is the "In Service" checkbox unchecked on the PM General tab?
  7. Is the PM Approval Required Setting turned on?
