InformationTitleLive MVP Data on Public DisplayContentContentSome MVP customers may benefit from being able to display summarized MVP data to their employees. Information from the Dashboard Widgets or the main module pages (Work Orders, Purchase Orders, etc) can be displayed on the Dashboard. In order to make this information easily accessible to users in public areas of your facility, you can use a Google Chrome extension, and a specifically created user, to have MVP running on a public display, and refreshed automatically to prevent timeouts. This process will require that a new user be created and logged in constantly meaning that one concurrent user license will be continually used up. In order to do this, you may need assistance from your IT team in order to set the display up properly, and ensure you can download and run Google Chrome, and the necessary extension. In order to have live MVP data featured on a public display do the following: Download a Chrome app called Easy Auto Refresh to be installed on the computer running Chrome that will be the source of the display for the TV. This app will automatically refresh the page at intervals you select so that the page will not be timed out. You can download it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/auto-refresh-plus-page-mo/hgeljhfekpckiiplhkigfehkdpldcggm?hl=en-USCreate a New User that will be used for the login to display the MVP data. This user will need the proper level of Role setup in order to ensure access to the areas of MVP you plan to display. A full admin user would be the simplest method. On User set up, it is critical that the "Session Timeout" of the user is set to 2 hours or below. (Session Timeouts greater than 2 hours do not refresh the timeout counter on user page load.) Log into MVP as the User created in step 2, set up any widgets, or prepare the page you want to display.Turn on the Auto Refresh App by clicking on it in the upper right-hand corner of your Google Chrome window (near the X icon to close the browser itself).Click on the desired refresh rate (you must select a time less than 30 minutes to ensure your MVP user is not timed out).Set Google Chrome to full-screen mode. Click on the three-dot icons in the upper right-hand corner of the web browser.Select the 4 cornered rectangle outline next to the zoom-in button. Once the above has been setup, the MVP page you have navigated to will be automatically refreshed at your selected interval so any employees in the area can easily see the up-to-date MVP information you wish to provide.
