InformationTitleEmail Settings and Email Relays Within MVP OneContentContentPlease see the options below if you are encountering issues receiving emails from MVP. Follow the steps provided to resolve the issue. Option 1: Add MVP as Approved Sender Contact your IT department to request that MVP’s IP range be added to your company’s SPF record. This ensures that emails sent from MVP on behalf of your users are successfully delivered to all recipients using your company’s email domain. Current MVP IP Range:• 38.131.228.24 If MVP adds or changes any IP addresses, an email notification will be sent to all users. As an alternative, you may create email addresses with providers that do not block these formats (e.g., Gmail). You can then configure forwarding rules so that messages sent from MVP to these alternative addresses are automatically forwarded to your corporate email accounts. Option 2: Set Up SMTP Relay from MVP Contact your IT department to request configuration of an SMTP relay from MVP to your company’s SMTP email server. MVP recommends securing this relay by whitelisting the IP addresses listed above so that only approved servers are permitted to send email to your SMTP server. As a security precaution, MVP’s servers do not accept any inbound email unless it originates from the MVP application on the local server (127.0.0.1). When SMTP relay is enabled, your messages will be sent directly from our web servers using IP 38.131.228.11 to your SMTP mail server. If mail is sent using MVP’s mail servers instead, the message will originate from IP 38.131.228.24.Email settings for MVP can be accessed by navigating to: Administration > Settings > Company If email relay is set up and the user’s domain is included in the allowed list:• The email is passed to the SMTP relay server and sent from the user’s email address stored on their People record.• The email server is set to the configured SMTP relay.• The To field is set to the recipient’s email address.• The From field is set to the email address stored in the MVP People record. If email relay is not set up, or the user’s domain is not in the allowed list:• All relay‑related rules are ignored.• The system does not use an SMTP relay.• If the On Behalf Of setting is enabled, the message will be sent using that configuration. Option 3: Do Not Send Emails "On Behalf of" Users have the ability to send emails from MVP “on behalf of” their own email address. When this option is enabled, the email will appear as if it was sent directly from the user’s email account.Users can also choose not to send emails “On Behalf Of.” In that case, messages are sent from Reports@MVPPlant.com instead. This method provides the highest deliverability because MVP has full control over the domain used to send the email. The On Behalf Of setting is controlled by each individual user. To change it:1. Select the User Icon in the top‑right corner.2. Select My Profile.3. Set "Include On Behalf Of When Emailing" to No. If an email exists for the user: Email sent from Reports@MVPPlant.com On Behalf Of If NO email exists for the users: Email sent from Reports@MVPPlant.com If the On Behalf of Setting is No: Email sent from Reports@MVPPlant.com URL NameEmail-Settings-and-Email-Relays-Within-MVP
