InformationTitleCustom FieldsContentContentMVP One allows Admin users to create Custom Fields for any Asset Class, Parts, Purchase Orders, Purchase Requests, Work Orders, and Work Requests. Custom Fields support 7 data types: Boolean (True/False, displays as a checkbox on records) Date DateTime DateTime with Seconds Decimal (18,5) (Numbers with a decimal place) Integer (Numbers Without a Decimal Place) Pick List (A drop-down list where users can select an option) String (256) (Text Box of 256 characters or less) To create a Custom Field use the following steps: Select Administration.Select Custom Fields.Select desired Custom Field option. Select Add.Enter Label (this is the name of the field).Select Data Type.Select OK. Custom Field Data Types cannot be edited after they have been created. If they need to be changed you must delete the current Custom Field and create a new one. Please note that if a user deletes a custom field, any Report that references that field will need to be deleted and re-created in order to run.
