InformationTitleCreate and Use Cycle CountsContentContentCycle Counts allow a user to create a specific list of Parts to be counted. This will allow MVP One users to verify and update Part records. This is completed by counting the quantity of items in their physical inventory, and entering them into the Cycle Count. Cycle Count Fields Cycle Count ID: This field displays the name of the Cycle Count. Warehouse ID: This field indicates the Warehouse where the count is sorted. Starting Stock Location: This field indicates the Stock Location where the count will begin. Ending Stock Location: This field indicates the Stock Location where the count will end. Starting Part ID: This field indicates the first Part ID in the count. Ending Part ID: This field indicates the final Part ID in the count. ABC Class: This field is used to categorize the Cycle Count into a specific ABC Class. Part Type: This field is used to categorize the Cycle Count by Part Type. Vendor ID: This field is used to categorize the Cycle Count by Vendor ID. Min. Avg Unit Cost: This field indicates the lowest average unit cost of Parts in the Cycle Count. Max. Avg Unit Cost: This field indicates the highest average unit cost of Parts in the Cycle Count. To create a Cycle Count, use the following steps: Select Inventory.Select Cycle Counts.Select New.Enter an ID for the Cycle Count.Enter additional information in the other optional fields.Click Preview to ensure the count is correct.Click Save when Done. If your workflows use paper, a Cycle Count can be printed. Printed Cycle Counts contain more columns than when viewed on MVP, including Part Description, UOM, and Model No. In order to print a Cycle Count use the following steps: Select Inventory.Select Cycle Counts.Navigate to the desired Cycle Count.Select Send.Select Print. Completing a Cycle Count Enter counted quantities in the Part's New Quantity fields. Select Update in the upper right when all quantities have been entered. The inventory levels will then automatically update. Cycle Counts can also be used with Mobile CMMS. Once a Cycle Count has been created, Mobile CMMS users can download the Cycle Count using the following steps: Log into Mobile CMMS.Select Parts.Select My Counts.Select Action.Select Download.Choose Cycle Count to download.Return to My Counts list.Begin processing Cycle Count. A Cycle Count printout that uses the same format as the Cycle Count page can be printed from the Cycle Count page by selecting Send and then Print.
