Spare Part Lists (SPL) are used to associate Parts with Assets. Please note that a Spare Part List must be created before parts can be associated with that Asset.
 
 
Creating New Spare Parts Lists
 
To create a Spare Parts List use the following steps:
  1. Select Assets.
  2. Select Spare Parts Lists.
  3. Select New.
  4. Enter a Spare Parts List ID. 
  5. Enter a description to provide additional details.
  6. To add parts to the list select "Add."
  7. Select Save.

 

 

 

How to Fill Out a Spare Parts List Record

 

General

Spare Parts List ID: This will determine the name of the Spare Parts List.

Description: Use this to provide additional details about the Spare Parts List. 

Add

  • Part ID: Use this to link a Part from the Inventory to this Spare Parts List.
  • Quantity: Use this to select how many of these Parts will be added to the Spare Parts List.

 

 

Attachments

This section displays the image attachments that have been added to this record and allows you to add additional images.
