InformationTitleChecking a Part OutContentContentPart Check OutPart check outs are performed when a Part is being used on a specific Asset or on a Work Order. A Part must have On-Hand Quantity to be checked out and the check out will diminish this Quantity by the selected amount. Checking out a Part also associates the cost of the Part with the record it is checked out to. Check Out from a Part RecordSelect Inventory (from the side menu bar): Select Parts.Select a Part ID from the List.Select "Action" and "Check Out."Select the "Charge To Type" and choose the ID of where the part is being checked out to.Choose the Warehouse and Stock location that the Part is being checked out from.Input the Quantity that is being checked Out.Select OK. Check Out from a Work Order Adding an "Actual Part" to a WO will function the same as checking out a Part to that WO. Select Work (from the side menu bar) Select Work Orders.Select a Work Order ID from the List.Select Action. Select Part under Add Actual.Input the Part ID.Choose the Warehouse and Stock location that the Part is being checked out from.Input the Quantity that is being checked Out.Select OK.
