InformationTitleBudget Transactions GridContentContentThe Budget Transactions section of the Account record provides a way for MVP users to view all of the individual transactions that have been made on an Account during a certain financial period. Calculating Budget Variance When opening an Account record the initial Budget grid will be blank except for the allocated Budget for each month. Select the Calculate button to have the Parts and Variance rows populate as seen below. In this example, there was only a Parts Transaction for this Account in February. Budget - This will show you the Budget allocated for that month. Parts - This will show you how much Parts spending was linked to this account for the month. Variance - This will show you how the Parts value differed from the Account Budget for the month. Budget Transactions Select the Variance cell for any month that has a value entered in the Parts row. In this case, it will be the red $28 value. Selecting this will populate the Budget Transactions grid with the transaction details for that month. This table is designed to give Users a detailed breakdown of what was spent on an Account for a specific month. You will also be able to quickly navigate to any related records by using the blue hyperlinks in the table. Exporting Transaction Data The data populated in the Transactions grid can be easily exported to Excel by selecting the Export button on the right side of the grid. Once this button is selected, MVP will immediately generate an Excel document and add it to your browser's downloads. It can then be opened in Excel as a .xlsx file. This allows users to save their Account Transaction information and have a way to easily edit and organize it in Excel. URL NameBudget-Transactions-Grid
