InformationTitleAsset Transfer RequestsContentContentLocal Sites linked to Enterprise Sites will have an Asset Requests page listed under the Assets section. This page will allow Users to view Assets that have been requested from other local sites, or sent to other local sites. This section can also be used as an Approval Process for requesting Asset transfers from other local sites. Please note that the “Transfer Asset” action can be used to send an Asset directly to another local site, without going through any Approval Process. This action can be removed from the User's roles if you want to force any Asset Transfers to go through an Approval Process. Ship: After a transfer request has been approved, it will appear as an option under the Action menu. The Receiving site will then need to Receive the Asset on their site to complete the transfer. Please note that you will not be able to complete the Ship action on Assets that are Down or In Storage. Receiving an Asset After an Asset has been shipped from the sending site, it will appear under the Receiving section of the Asset Requests page. Select Action> Receive to move forward with the transfer process. After selecting Receive a menu will open allowing the User to set the Asset ID, Parent Asset Class, and Parent Asset ID. Once this information is set, select OK to complete the Asset Transfer process. This will create a new Asset record on the receiving site, while removing the Asset record from the Sending site. History The Asset Requests page also contains historical information on which Assets have been Sent or Received from the current local site. The Receive History will show you all of the Assets that have been received or were requested by the current local site. This will include requests that were Canceled or Declined. The Send History will show you all of the Assets that have been sent from this site, as well as any Transfer Requests from other sites that this site has Canceled or Declined.
