Asset Notes on Work Orders

The Work Order Notes Field on Assets (found in the Location tab) is an open text field that can be used to place Asset-specific information you want users to see on Work Orders. On the Import Wizard, this field is labeled as "Safety Notes."

 

To add information to this field use the following steps:

  1. Select Assets.
  2. Select the appropriate Asset Class (equipment, locations, etc).
  3. Navigate to the Asset you want to add the notes to.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Select the Location tab.
  6. Enter notes into the Work Order Notes field.
  7. Select Save when finished.
