Adjust Quantity Overview
The Adjust Quantity action updates the on‑hand quantity of a Part (by either increasing or decreasing it) and is used to correct inventory counts. It is not intended for receiving new stock.

Adjusting the On‑Hand Quantity of a Part
1.     Select Inventory.
2.     Select Parts.
3.     Navigate to the Part you need to adjust.
4.     Select Action.
5.     Select Adjust Qty.
6.     Enter the new on‑hand quantity. This value becomes the updated on‑hand balance.
7.     Select OK.

Important Notes
•     The Adjust Quantity action cannot be used to change a Part from 0 on hand to a quantity greater than zero. To add stock to a Part at zero, use the Quick Receive action.
•     Access to the Adjust Quantity action is controlled by User Roles. If the option is unavailable, contact your site administrator to update your permissions.
