The Add Actual Part Action will record the transaction against the Work Order and show up in the Part History. The costs will be charged to the Work Order upon completion of the Action. The Inventory stock levels will be reduced by the quantity issued.

 

Multiple Parts can be added to a Work Order at once using this action. After one Part ID is entered then the option to enter another will appear below it.

 

 

In order to use the Add Actual Part Action from a Work Order use the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Work Orders.
  2. Select a Work Order to Add the Part to.
  3. Select Action.
  4. Select Add Actual Part.
  5. Select the Part from the menu, the Warehouse and Stock Location, and the Quantity.
  6. Repeat Step 5 for any additional Parts.
  7. Select OK to complete the transaction.
