Asset Types are used in MVP One to categorize and differentiate Assets. After creating an Asset Type it can be applied to Asset records. 

 

Creating New Asset Types

To create an Asset Type use the following steps:

1. Select Assets.
2. Select Asset Types.
3. Select New.
4. Fill out the Asset Type field.
5. Enter additional details in the Description field.
6. Select Save. 

 

 

 

How to Fill Out an Asset Type Record

Asset Type: This field determines the name of the Asset Type.

Description: This field is used to provide additional information about the Asset Type.
