This will article will explain how to set up the Perform by Warranty Date for an Asset. This will allow Users to be alerted when the Asset is under Warranty.

On the Assets Financial tab, there is an "End Date" field under the Warranty section.

When this end date has not passed, any Work Order or Work Request created will alert the user with a pop-up screen that the Asset is under Warranty.

To update the End Date on an Asset use the following steps:

Select Assets.
Select the appropriate Asset Class(Equipment, Location, System, Repairable Spare).
Navigate to the desired Asset.
Select Edit.
Select the Financial tab.
Enter an End Date under the Warranty section.
Select Save.
