When uploading an import template a "Column names are incorrect" error can occur. This can be due to a legitimate problem between the expected column names (as displayed on the left-hand side of the screen) and the downloaded template, or it can be caused by improper formatting somewhere on the template that is being uploaded.

To correct any improper formatting use the following steps:
  1. Navigate to the Import Wizard (Administration > Import Wizard).
  2. Select the Import from the Table drop-down menu.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Click on the name (in blue text) of the Import template to download a new copy.
  5. Open the downloaded template (select Yes/Ok to bypass the file type error message).
  6. Copy the data (everything below the column headers) from the template being used currently.
  7. Paste this (underneath the column headers) in the new template.
  8. Save new template as an excel workbook.
  9. Attempt to import again.
