Embedding Excel Files

MVP users may use Microsoft Excel to view their MVP data and Reports. Excel files can then be exported in HTML format and added to your MVP Dashboard using the HTML Widget.  

 

Adding Excel to the Dashboard

To export your Excel file you will first need to save it to your Microsoft OneDrive. This can be done by using File> Save As> And selecting the save location as OneDrive.

At this point you can follow the steps below to embed your Excel file on the MVP Dashboard.

1. Open your saved Excel file in OneDrive.

2. Search "Embed in the search bar at the top and select the Embed option.
3. From the Embed popup, note the "Embed code" at the bottom. Select this code and copy in its entirety. 

4. From the MVP Dashboard add the "Sample HTML Widget."
5. From the Widget select Edit and select the "Code View" option.
6. Paste the "Embed Code" over the existing code and select OK.
