InformationTitlePR Approval ChainsContentContentPR Approval Chains are used to determine which Users can approve Purchase Requests, based on the dollar value of the request. These Approval Chains can then be applied to specific PRs to restrict which users can approve and generate them into POs. Approval Chains can also be added to People IDs. Those users will then follow that Approval Chain when submitting PRs. Creating New PR Approval Chains To create a PR Approval Chain use the following steps: Select Administration.Select Approval Chains, PR.Select New.Enter a Name for the Approval Chain.Select "Default?" if this is the Default Approval Chain.Select "Enforce Approval Chain" if you want every level to have to Approve the PR no matter the total cost.Select Add to add Approval Levels:Name the level.Select if all must approve or how many in the level must approve.Add the dollar amount that can be approved.Select users from the bottom and select Add to add them to the Selected User(s) field.Select OK to save the level. Add as many levels as needed.Ensure there is an Unlimited level.Select Save. To edit a PR Approval Chain, use the following steps: Select Administration.Select Approval Chain, PR.Select the green plus symbol to add new levels or the pencil icon to edit existing levels.Select Save.
