InformationTitleContractorsContentContentPeople records are created to represent specific people that work in a plant or facility that uses MVP One. A Contractor record is created to represent an outside professional or company who is hired to do work at the facility. Contractor records allow individuals outside of an organization to access documentation in MVP One. Additionally it will allow the Contractor's labor to be recorded on a Work Order. Creating New Contractors To create a Contractor use the following steps: Select People.Select Contractors.Select New.Enter a Contractor ID.Enter the Contractor's First and Last Name.Fill out any optional fields. Select Save. How to Fill Out a Contractor Record General Contractor ID: This field is used to represent the name of the Contractor record. First: This field displays the Contractor's first name. Last: This field displays the Contractor's last name. Birthday: This field displays the Contractor's birthdate. Vendor ID: This field is used to link a Vendor ID with the Contractor. PR Approval: This field is used to link a PR Approval Chain with the Contractor. This Approval Chain will then be linked to any Purchase Requests created by this Contractor. Department: This field is used to link a Department record to the Contractor. This may indicate which Department the Contractor reports to. Cost Center: This field is used to link a Cost Center with the Contractor. This is used to show which Cost Center the Contractor's associated costs should be linked to. Shift: This field is used to link a specific shift with the Contractor. This is used to show in which timeframe or shift the Contractor will be working. Reports To: This field can be linked to another MVP One user and used to show who the Contractor reports to. Contact: This section allows contact information to be entered for the Contractor. Emergency Contact: This section allows emergency contact information to be entered for the Contractor. Employment Craft: This field is used to link Crafts to the Contractor. Rate: This field displays the hourly wage rate that the Contractor receives for this craft. OT Rate: This field displays the overtime wage rate that the Contractor receives for this craft. Primary: This field is used to indicate whether or not this is the primary craft for this Contractor. Start Date: This field shows when the Contractor began their employment. End Date: This field shows when the Contractor's employment ended. End Date Reason: This field is used to provide a reason for why the Contractor's employment ended. Skills Skill ID: This field is used to link a specific Skill record with this Contractor record. Start Date: This field is used to provide a start date for when this Skill is legitimate. End Date: This field is used to provide an end date for when this Skill is no longer legitimate. Description: This field is used to provide additional information about this Skill. Hours: This field is used to show how many hours of experience this individual has in the Skill. Cost: This field is used to show the hourly cost of this Skill. School: This field can be used to enter what school this individual attended to learn this Skill. Certification Expiration: This field is used to provide an expiration date for this Skill's certification. Certification: This field indicates whether or not this individual is certified in this Skill. Attachments This section displays the image attachments that have been added to this record and allows you to add additional images.
